1. Podrán participar todas las obras audiovisuales y de cualquier género.
2. Todos los cortometrajes deberán estar hablados, doblados o subtitulados en el idioma español.
3. La inscripción es gratuita. Los gastos de envío de los materiales corren por cuenta y cargo de los participantes.
4. Se inscribirán cortometrajes de hasta 15 minutos de duración máxima.
5. El formato de producción es libre.
6. Podrán participar producciones finalizadas desde 2007 en adelante.
7. Normas de Inscripción (Excluyentes): Las obras deberán ser presentadas en dos copias en formato DVD con box de plástico.
8. Se deberá adjuntar en un CD (Excluyentes): Ficha Técnica. Filmografía o CV del Director y sinopsis del cortometraje. Dos (2) imágenes en formato digital que pueden ser; fotos de la película, diapositivas, fotos de backstage, fotos de los actores o del director.
9. La selección estará a cargo por el comité del VII Festival Internacional de Cine/Corto de Tapiales, y la programación será diseñada por la Dirección de Programación del Festival.
10. El Jurado será designado por los organizadores y los nombres se darán a conocer posteriormente al cierre de las inscripciones.
11. Se premiará en diversos rubros con el Premio Aborigen del Festival de Cine de Tapiales; Mejor Cortometraje, Mejor Dirección, Mejor Guión, Mejor Producción, Mejor Fotografía, Mejor Sonido, Mejor Animación y Mejor Cortometraje Extranjero.
12. El ganador a Mejor Cortometraje del Festival de Cine de Tapiales (solo cortometraje nacional) será premiado también con un premio en efectivo de $ 5,000 (cinco mil pesos argentinos) Premio del Instituto Cultural de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. La entrega, decisión y adjudicación de este premio corre por cuenta exclusiva del Instituto Cultural de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y según reglamento del Premio Incentivo. No podra obtener el premio en metalico aquel cortometraje que haya obetnido este mismo premio en otro Festival del circuito de Festivales de Cine de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Quedando totalmente desligada de responsabilidad la Organización del Festival de Cine de Tapiales.
13. Todas las obras, hayan sido o no seleccionadas, no se devolverán y pasarán a formar parte de la Videoteca del Festival de Cine/Corto de Tapiales, donde se administrarán esos recursos para la realización de funciones especiales y muestras itinerantes en ámbitos nacionales o internacionales que se interesen por el material y su exhibición, como por ejemplo muestras especiales del Festival de Cine de Tapiales. El autor de la obra no podrá realizar ningún reclamo o exigir compensación alguna por el uso de la misma por parte del festival.

CONDICIONES DE INSCRIPCIÓN
Todas las películas inscriptas deben incluir material original. Los organizadores no se hacen responsables del contenido de los mismos en cuanto a derechos o licencia de explotación.
Los organizadores se reservan el derecho de rechazar algún corto inscripto.
El material enviado a los organizadores no será devuelto y pasarán a formar parte de la videoteca del festival y de la programación de muesrtas especiales.
El propietario de la película, cede sin exclusividad a la Organización de Festival de Cine de Tapiales el derecho de emisión durante el festival y para la realización de funciones especiales y muestras itinerantes dentro ámbitos nacionales e internacionales que se interesen por el material y su exhibición.
Cada corto podrá ser emitido a juicio de los organizadores sin límite de pases y por tiempo indefinido.
La inscripción y presentación al festival supone la aceptación de condiciones.
La hoja de inscripción debe estar firmada por el legítimo propietario de los derechos de la obra a emitir. Las películas enviadas sin dicha firma serán rechazadas.
El autor de la obra no podrá realizar ningún reclamo o exigir compensación alguna por el uso de la misma por parte del festival.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS / 2010 APPLICATION FORM
DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 10TH, 2010
1. Festival is open for all short films of any genre.
2. Films submitted must be Spanish spoken, dubbed or subtitled.
3. Application is free. All expenses related with shipping of the films for submission will be on applicants’ account.
4. Films will not exceed 15 minutes.
5. Production format is open to filmmakers’ own discretion.
6. Films must have been produced from 2007 onwards.
7. Submission requirements (mandatory): 2 copies of the short film must be submitted on DVD format presented in a plastic box.
8. It is also mandatory to include a CD with the following information: credits, director’s filmography or CV, short film synopsis, 2 digital images (may be film scenes photographs, backstage photographs, actors or director photos)
9. The Festival Selection Committee will be responsible for the film selection and the program will be determined by Festival Programming Department.
10. The members of the Jury will be chosen by the organizers and their names will be published after the deadline for submissions.
11. Winner films will be granted Aborigen Awards to the following categories: Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Production, Best Photography, Best Sound, Best Animated Film, Best Foreign Film.
12. Best Short Film (only for Argentinian shorts films) will also be awarded with a special prize of $ 5000,00 (five thousand Argentine pesos) given by the Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires Province. The election of the winner film of this award is an exclusive prerogative of the Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires Province. This prize will not be given to a film already awarded with it in another festival included in the Festival Circuit of Buenos Aires Province. Tapiales Festival is not responsible for this award in any case.
13. No copy of the films (selected or not) will be returned. All of them will become part of Tapiales Short Film Festival archives and may be used for special showcases and/or national or international exhibitions. Filmmakers will not be entitled to claim any compensation for the use of their films by Tapiales Short Film Festival.

SUBMISSION RULES
All submitted films will include original material. Organizers will not be responsible of their contents regarding copyright or commercial exploitation licences.
The organizers reserve the right to reject any film submmited.
The material sent to the organizers will not be returned and will become part of the festival's video library and may be included in special showcases programming.
The owner of the film gives to the Organization of Tapiales Film Festival the right with no exclusivity to broadcast the film during the festival, special showcases and traveling exhibits worldwide which may be interested in the material and its exhibition.
Each short film will be exhibited at organizer’s discretion with no limit of shows indefinitely.
The registration and submission of films to the festival implies the acceptance of conditions.
The registration form must be signed by the legal owner of the rights to broadcast the work. Films submitted without such signature will be rejected.
The author of the work will not be entitled to make any claim or demand compensation for any use of it by the Festival.
